Jobs To Avoid: Scams

What To Avoid & How To Know If You’re Being Scammed.

The internet is riddled with scams all tyring to get your money. They suck you in with their promises of “instant riches” and “make money fast” claims.

Some of these websites are so legit looking and sounding, that they catch hundreds even thousands of people out.

I have been scammed, conned, hoodwinked and lied to so many times you would think I should no better. Well it took me a few dollars to figure out that if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is.

The way a scam gets you, is it plays on your weaknesses or appeals to your hopes and dreams. They have wonderfully written sales pages that promise to fix the problem you have or they have a water tight system that promises to help you give up that day job and then shows you the hundreds of thousands in earnings they are making.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the moment, but the best thing to do is nothing at first. Take a deep breath and then start looking for some reviews to gauge other people’s responses. This way you can usually get a picture of whether it’s worth handing over your hard earned dollars.

Now be careful, reading reviews can also be fraught with danger as well. Some of these scam artists have even infiltrated the review sites and loaded up a scam review or two.

Take your time and do your homework, remember the saying above.
Don’t be fooled by glitzy sales pages and outlandish claims. Follow your gut instincts as they are usually right.

The short of it is, if you have to pay money to make money, then it probably is some type of scam, unless there is value for the money you are spending such as ongoing training, web hosting, support, etc.
There are a few legit systems and offers out there, which can really help you build a living online, but they are rare.

Here is a great article you can read, explaining the modern day scam artist and what to look for.

The online world has become a place of deceit and lies when it comes to making money online.
Don’t make the same mistakes I did. Look for a site that is free and lets you see exactly what is on offer from the inside, before handing any money over.

I recommend that you check out Wealthy Affiliate as it cost nothing, is a great place to learn and also allows you to see what’s on the inside before you commit.
